"I used to never wear shimmer colors, but these eye lights are amazing. I’m a one and done eye color. I’m 64 and long wearing and having a polished simple look is classy. Just try these if on the fence. I put small amount on a mixing plate and use my finger then soften with a fluffy brush."
"I bought the Cashmere Matte Eyelights in canyon clay and I love the color. I applied it on my lids and it is pretty dry so I thought to apply a bit more. After a couple of hours, I saw that the shadow was not applied as uniformly as I thought it and you could see the crease was less colored than the rest of my lid, plus the matte shadow created laugh lines when I smiled. I guess I have to apply a primer before putting this on."
"I have an older color Wood Nymph and I LOVE it. It is a very neutral color and it stays all day. The problem is the packaging. Its cute that its like a paint tube, but the needle nose gets clogged causing me to squeeze the tube. I then realized I popped a hole in the side and product was lost. I'm sad. "I am an avid customer of RMS. I have almost all the Cashmere Mattes. Rosemary says not to apply anything like primer under them, but I apply a bit of moisture and let it soak in and then apply. My makeup routine is quick. The three products that work on anybody are Tundra Taupe, Canyon Clay* and Dusty Trail. You can't fail with these three, especially on brown eyes. Any one of them could be one and done. They should be called the "on the road" kit. Add a little shine with an Eyelight or luminizer in mini, if desired. Some tinted moisturizer with sunscreen for a bit of glow, blush and mascara and you're done. This is what looks natural and youthful on mature women like myself. Dare I say a bit French? Red lips, anyone?"

"I really love this color, but as soon as I open the cap, quite a bit of it came popping out of the tube immediately, and I had no way to save it! I was bummed. I would have saved every drop of it if I could! But the bottom line is I love the desert rose color in the Cashmere Matte. Do you not include the little key for these tubes anymore so that we can get every last drop? If not, perhaps you can consider it as a free add-on."
"I was really excited about these. I ordered 2. I’m 40 and the skin in my eye contour area is not as smooth and tight as it once was. I heard this product was great for not settling into creases. I am very disappointed. Firstly, the tube it comes in starts dispensing product as soon as you take the cap off. You can’t stop it from dispensing until you force the cap back on. This inevitably leads to a lot of wasted product. Secondly, I don’t find the product smooths out well. You have to use very little product otherwise it looks super cakey. It also dries super fast. I’ve tried blending with my finger and with a brush being sure to work quickly. I’m never happy with the application. It has the consistency of clay. It doesn’t pool in creases so that’s good I guess. Not at all impressed at $40 a tube. Far better products out there. Don’t waste your money."
"I have most colors of the eye lights but I have to be honest, the matte colors I don’t like so much. I think it’s the consistency I don’t like or how it stays on eyelids. I just received the rose matte colors and am not impressed. I don’t let the shadow dry at all I put it on immediately and it still doesn’t lay right. Not my favorite I do like the shimmers much better"
