Sustainable Beauty
Consciously Bottled
Since the launch of RMS Beauty in 2009, we have meaningfully packaged many of our products in recyclable glass jars. We continue to source new or tried and true materials like the aluminum tubes of our Eyelights Cream Eyeshadows that are easy-to-recycle materials. Beginning in 2022, we are proud to have transitioned all of our existing lids to 100% PCR for many of our products including cult-favorites UnCoverup Concealer, Luminizer, Lip2Cheek and Buriti Bronzer. Wherever there is plastic (including the white outer casing of ReEvolve Primer & Foundation), we incorporate PCR content as much as possible.
The Road To Refillables
In 2021, we debuted our first refillable packaging with ReEvolve Radiance Locking Primer and in 2022, continued to expand our refillable products with the launch of ReDimension Hydra Powder Blush and ReEvolve Natural Finish Foundation. By purchasing a refill only, you'll save a significant percentage in plastic (67% for ReEvolve Primer and Foundation; 79% for ReDimension Blush!).
The Whole Package
All of our unit cartons are made of 80% post consumer recycled mohawk paper with the exception of ReEvolve Natural Finish Foundation that is 100% PCW. Additionally, all cartons are forestry certified and vegetable ink is used for printing.
Circularity Matters
We are a proud member of PACT, the non-profit organization that has taken responsibility when it comes to our industry’s packaging problem. With various locations across the country, including our key retail partners Sephora, PACT makes it easy to recycle your beauty product empties. Just drop them off at a location near you!
Better Together
We've partnered with key vendors to recycle discontinued acrylic merchandising display units responsibly and to reduce landfill. We will continue to source innovative materials and methods with the planet in mind when it comes to our in store display units.
