"I love how natural this shade looks, as if it could be my real lip color (if I were lucky). So it defines my lips beautifully without being distracting as a color. And I love the hydrating effect of the serum lipsticks. I have the color Eve as well, and both are soft, beautiful neutrals that I keep in constant rotation."

"This was the second product that I tried in my first ever RMS order, and had high expectations for a balmy, pretty color on my lips. It was dry, brown and cakey. Very unfortunate. I only have the 2 eye shadows left to use, but unless they blow me away, I fear that this may be both the first and the last order of the lauded RMS products for me."

"Jayne is the worst color I have ever put on. I am a fair Indian women and the color came out a ugly pale brown, made me look sick. There is very little representation onsite and on their IG page. There is no one that has my skin tone that is truly represented here. I will not be shopping here again. I'm sticking to buying makeup online at Sephora where I can easily return my items and not have to pay $15 for fees and taxes"

"The colors Eve and Naomi are beautiful nudes. I have caramel brown skin and the colors give the look of "my lips but better. " They are stunning everyday colors you can count on. The colors last about 4 or more hours. Love the soft moisturizing matte finish."

"wow. i am so loving this one. it looks like such a wrong color for me in the tube but on my lips it transforms into the most exquisite neutral in the galaxy !! and there is some magical cooling effect too which is pretty darn amazing. my preferred way to apply is with my fingers for a blurry smudgy lip … perfection !"

"I purchased Legendary Serum Lipstick in Eve. I find the color more orange than the rosey red as described and the texture to be more drying than moisturizing. In addition the lipstick has come quite a ways out of the tube, even though I have not turned it more than a couple of clicks. Would not purchase again."

"I've just received my serum lipstick in the shade Mae. I'm a medium cool complexion, and it is the PERFECT shade for me. I like a little color in my everyday lipstick, and this is it! Not too much color--just right. This is nicely moisturizing, and lasts a long time. It feels really hydrating without being shiny, but it's not too matte. If I want more shine, I'll put lip gloss over it."

- Is this lipstick vegan?
- The Legendary Lip Serum is Vegan! In some of our products we do use small amounts of certified organic beeswax, which we procure from sustainable sources in the mountains in South America, where the bees are far away from city pollution, pesticides, insecticides, herbicides and fungicides, and neonicotinoids (the type of pesticides used in conventional mono-farming that has been directly linked to bee population decline.) We only use beeswax that conscientiously harvested, using practices that keep the bees completely safe from all possible harm. So while beeswax is not considered vegan, we invite you to compare our ingredient sourcing to the “vegan” palm oil so many other cosmetics manufacturers use—the production of which is destroying wildlife habitats and decreasing in the world’s orangutan population every day. Rest assured, we work exclusively with sustainable beekeepers, whose mission is to care for and nourish their bees while gently harvesting some of their by-products. Our beekeeper partners treat these special creatures with honor and respect, protecting them the way principled beekeepers have done for thousands of years.
- How do you dial the lipstick down? I clicked it too much and it won’t go down!!
- To maintain the integrity of the product and to ensure the freshness of the lip-loving clean ingredients, Legendary Serum Lipstick was produced in an airtight tube. This non-retractable tube extends the product’s shelf life and keeps the formula clean and from drying out by shielding the unused portion from air. The slogan is "One-click. One-swipe. Legend." Simply twist the bottom of the tube just once until it clicks, this will not retract once it is clicked, so only click once. One click reveals the perfect amount of product. Gently glide across lips.
