"'The look is moonlit skin with a beautiful glow to it,' makeup artist Lucia Pieroni said backstage at Alexander McQueen. She applied RMS Beauty Oil all over the face with highlights of RMS Master Mixer. Pieroni then created a smoky eye using MAC Technakohl Liner in Graphblack — both on the waterline and to tint the lashes — followed by a blend of RMS Eye Polish in Lunar color and Karma shade pushed into the lash line and blended out. She followed with a touch of Egyptian Magic for additional sheen. Lips were blushed with an RMS prototype shade of pink. 'The girls have been out at an amazing party so their makeup is a bit smudged,' she explained. Guido Palau crafted 'pinky romance' hair using Redken products. He applied Guts 10 Volume Spray Foam and rough-dried the lengths using Wind Blown 05 Dry Finishing Spray. He divided them into two sections at the back, crossing one under the other — secured at the front with bobby pins. Then he loaded the hair with earrings, bracelets, brooches and chains 'like your mother’s dressing table jewelry — the more the better. I’m magpie-ing — getting as much in as I can.' 'Before I first spoke to Sarah [Burton], I’d seen this amazing woman in my local drugstore on Eighth Avenue whose head was covered in cheap diamanté clips and it looked so beautiful,' he noted."
