Master Radiance Base and skin2skin foundation brush Duo
What it isThe perfect duo for all 4 ways to use master radiance base, combining your shade of master radiance base with the skin2skin foundation brush. This flattering incandescent cream highlighter works in four ways to blur imperfections and create the ultimate glow. The skin2skin foundation brush is created with high-end synthetic fibers, specifically designed to mimic skin to skin makeup application.
What makes it specialThis highlighting cream contains a combination of organic jojoba, chia and meadowfoam seed oils to hydrate, firm and smooth while light-reflecting pearls help to diffuse imperfections with a soft radiant glow. Use alone, as a base, mixed with foundation or as a highlighter on its own. Because of the expertly placed bristles using dual technology, the skin2skin foundation brush effortlessly blends foundation onto the skin, pressing color into the skin rather than laying on top of the face. Mimicking skin-to-skin application, the foundation brush covers pores, imperfections and will not drag unevenly across skin.
How To ApplyOur versatile cream formula can be used in a variety of ways:
-On its own for natural radiance: Warm a small amount of product between fingers and apply a thin layer all over the face, massaging into skin as you would a moisturizer.
-As the first step prior to foundation: Warm a small amount of product between fingers and apply a thin layer all over the face, massaging into skin as you would a moisturizer. Follow with foundation.
-Mixed with any foundation to add dimension and warmth: Mix both products on the back of your hand and then apply using fingers, sponge or a brush to blend into skin for a luminous base.
-To amplify radiance on elevated areas of the face: Using fingers, sponge or a brush, apply to elevated areas of the face such as cheekbones, down the bridge of the nose, inner corner of eyes and on cupid's bow.
ROSE-MARIE’S TOP TIP
The idea of Master Radiance Base was somewhat of a happy accident! I thought I had "un"cover-up 22 in my hand and when I went to blend it on the woman's face everyone gasped at the results and I quickly realized I applied Master Mixer. It was so beautifully forgiving on her skin and elevated the whole texture of it. I took this concept to formulate more of a whipped, creamy textured product that could be easily applied all over the face with the addition of ingredients like chia and meadowfoam seed oils to create the skin's most gorgeous canvas. This product is magical for enhancing the skin and creating radiance without the greasiness. It beautifully evens out imperfections and doubles as a sun-kissed bronzer for lighter skin tones. Both "rich" and "deep" in radiance work beautifully as a highlighter, eye shadow, lip highlight and depending on skin tone, a sunkissed bronzer.
I’m still trying to find a way to make this product work. I’m finding it more glittery than expected and not blending evenly.
If you're on the fence.... just get this duo! I bought the brush years ago and use it practically every day. It's the perfect shape for both the master radiance base and uncoverup. And the radiance base itself is just stunning. I have the shade rich in radiance and it is truly gorgeous. I even use it as an eyeshadow sometimes.
Recently I purchased the Uncoverup in 22.5. This is a new shade for me but i am loving it. With the brush it glides on so smoothly and if I just need a dab somewhere i use my finger for a heavier cover.
I was a little skeptical of this product. When I opened it up… I mix it with my tinted moisturizer and it gives a nice radiant glow and I’m surprised by the coverage. I have dry skin and it has helped it not look flaky midway through the day. Love it!
I don’t use the brush and radiance base together - the base is a bit too stiff/dry for the brush to work with. I’ve seen on Instagram that some people make a “cocktail” with the radiance base and face primer, which makes a good consistency when I apply with my fingers.
The radiance base is quite shiny, so I don’t use a lot. I like using it under powder foundation so that there’s an inner glow that has a similar effect as the luminizer. I’ve tried pairing with the un-cover foundation and my face looked too bright, hence the powder foundation tends to neutralize the brightness.
The brush is great with the primer, not so much the foundation because of the consistency. If I apply foundation to my hand first to warm it up, that works better with the brush - but I prefer using a brush to not have to get makeup on my hands.
All in all, the brush is best to apply primer and the radiance base is best under powder foundation. They didn’t go well together in this bundle but still decent products on their own.
