Top Shelf, a section of Into the Gloss highlighting women in the beauty and fashion industry, recently did a story on Kerry Diamond, a successful PR exec. Among her repertoire are WWD, Lancome, Harper's Bazaar and Coach--not too shabby a list, so her input on the beauty world is insightful and fun.
Although Diamond has a long list of beauty favorites, she still holds a special place for natural cosmetic brands--saying she loves "Rose-Marie Swift's makeup." Natural lines such as rms beauty don't incorporate a lot of technology into their ingredients and products, as many bigger names do. However, her forecast for the beauty future are brands that will find success in combining both nature and science into their products.
