How to apply

For wide-awake eyes, hold the wand horizontally and wiggle the brush through lashes from base to tip to separate and coat. For more volume, layer on additional coats. Remove easily with RMS Beauty Coconut Clean Cleansing Balm (sold separately).

- *Rose-Marie Tip: “This is one of my tricks I used back in the day on the Victoria’s Secret models for gorgeous lashes and eyes that popped. I would apply one coat of mascara first and then use an eyelash curler to lift them a bit. Our Straight Up™ Volumizing Peptide Mascara isn’t gooey like some of the others out there so your lashes won’t all stick together after doing this. Then I would go in with the mascara again and do another coating right on top to build them up. This gives a beautiful high impact look with a volumizing and lengthening effect too.”

This formula is not waterproof. However, thanks to our Tri-locking system, Straight Up™ Mascara stays in place without smudging or flaking.

Containing 3 unique binding ingredients - 2 waxes and a starch - this trio of natural ingredients wraps around the lash to deliver smudge-free, flake-free longwear. The ingredients include Euphorbia Cerifera (Candelilla) Wax, Copernicia Cerifera (Carnauba) Wax, Zea Mays (Corn) Starch (non-GMO).

The oil-water formula ensures easy removal, without any tugging or breakage. We recommend using our Coconut Clean Cleansing Balm which can be used as a makeup remover and cleanser to easily remove mascara. Scoop out the balm with the included spatula and warm between palms. Using fingertips, apply to dry skin and lashes with eyes closed and gently massage until the balm has transformed into an oil. Wet hands and continue massaging in circular motions until the oil emulsifies into a milky lather. Rinse with warm water or wipe off with a damp washcloth. (Avoid direct contact with eyes; if contact occurs, rinse thoroughly with water.)

To avoid clumping, we recommend removing any excess mascara from the wand before application. Slide brush out and scrape mascara back into the tube. This will ensure a dryer brush so you can build with light layers without weighing lashes down or causing clumpiness.

We would be vegan except we do use small amounts of certified organic beeswax, which we procure from sustainable sources in the mountains in South America, where the bees are far away from city pollution, pesticides, insecticides, herbicides and fungicides, and neonicotinoids (the type of pesticides used in conventional mono-farming that has been directly linked to bee population decline.) We only use beeswax that conscientiously harvested, using practices that keep the bees completely safe from all possible harm. So while beeswax is not considered vegan, we invite you to compare our ingredient sourcing to the “vegan” palm oil so many other cosmetics manufacturers use—the production of which is destroying wildlife habitats and decreasing in the world’s orangutan population every day. Does it come off easily?: Yes! The oil-water formula ensures easy removal, without any tugging or breakage. We recommend using the rms beauty ultimate makeup remover wipes to easily remove mascara. Gently wipe face with unfolded towelette, and remove all traces of even the thickest eye makeup. Follow with your normal facial cleanser. We also recommend using with our raw coconut cream which can be used as a makeup remover or cleanser. Apply a minimal amount of product to the face and work gently into the skin and lashes. Remove with water and a soft cloth.
