How To ApplyUse the kabuki polisher to buff magic luminizer into the skin for a natural but high-impact look
ROSE-MARIE’S TOP TIP
"Applying Magic Luminizer using the Kabuki Polisher really buffs it into the skin, so it looks natural but with added highlight and drama. This achieves that 'Instagram strobing' effect, but with a subtle, radiant sophistication."
I've tried all the luminizers and this one is my favourite because of the soft, sunrise-lit tone. It blends beautifully and stays on all day.
I LOVE the Master Mixer and have used it devotedly for years. I purchased this bundle thinking the addition of the brush and an even more gleaming shade with improve on what I thought was perfection, but it just does not work for me. The consistency of the product is so much thicker for some reason than Master Mixer, and the shade coupled with the thickness looks rather obvious and tragic, as opposed to luminous. I tried the brush with Master Mixer and while it was definitely better than Magic Illuminator, I still prefer the ethereal look application with fingers provides, because it has the benefit of warming the product which makes it melt into skin, whereas with the brush it sits on top and looks far less like it comes from within.
I purchased this duo first for myself and then to give as gifts. The magic luminizer is the perfect color for most skin tones --- that rosy-glowy-perfect color works for day and night-time use. Love!
I can’t see this product either applying a lot. Not sure it’s right for fair skin.
Love this! The kabuki brush blends the luminizer into my skin so wonderfully. It looks so natural and so pretty. I was on the fence about buying the brush, but I am so glad that I did. Its really a great set.
