How To ApplyUse with RMS Beauty “un” cover-up
ROSE-MARIE’S TOP TIP
Everyone asked me if I was going to do brushes when I launched my brand and my answer was “I will not do a brush 'till I have one that can mimic skin to skin application. Well, I have one. It has a series of hypnotic-like circles (or fingerprint) embedded into the circular angled head. This is hands down the best foundation brush (award winner) on the market and can literally do a perfect foundation sans mirror. The synthetic bristles are not your typical soft sable but they are slightly firmer in order to stimulate facial tone, blood circulation which therefore oxygenates the skin. It is designed to mold perfectly over every angle of the face while blending flawlessly...Nothing beats this brush.
I’ve been using this brush for only a couple of weeks now. It’s amazing. I use it with my “un”-cover up cream foundation and it blends it into my skin so well, you can’t even tell I’m wearing any make-up. You just have to remember that for the “un”-cover up concealer AND foundation, a little goes a very long way, so start with very little on your brush.
I love it.
This brush is nice and is the perfect size to use with the Un cover up, but I expected it to be softer. It is so firm that I feel like I am just tugging on my skin so much when I use it to apply the Un cover up. I don't expect to use it often because of that.
I really like using this brush to apply the concealer. It provides even coverage and helps you to use even less product than if you used your fingers. I just dab the brush on the concealer and then lightly swirl on my face so I can control the amount of product being applied. I need a little more on my cheeks because of redness and broken capillaries, but not so much on my T zone. It gives buildable coverage and it looks like it will easy to clean because the bristles are short so you won't have so much product trapped down deep within the brush.
I tried many other brushes and blenders, this was created just for this product and it shows. It gathers the perfect amount of product and is just the right strength bristle for smooth gentle blending.
This is a decent brush and I'll keep using it, just maybe not for my foundation. It's too small so it takes longer to cover my face, and it seems to pack the foundation on too heavily for my tastes, but maybe I'm doing it wrong. I've only used it a few times so far. I prefer to apply the foundation with a beauty blender though, honestly. I might use this brush to spot conceal or perhaps be very brave and try it for blush (though too heavy on the blush might not be good either... ha!).
